Hypen's first blog - Covid 19 - taking positives out of a bad situation

Hi! Welcome to Hypen’s first Blog, great to have you here and we hope you are keeping safe and healthy through these unprecedented times (Covid-19). For my first blog I was planning on talking about how Hypen was founded and to tell you a little more about us, but due to the current Coronavirus situation I thought I’d talk about the lockdown situation that we are currently in – as this is not something that happens often (if ever).

It is now day 1 of the UK lockdown, it’s all starting to feel very real now as the Covid-19 Virus has been confirmed in the Street next to mine – a situation that I never thought would happen when I first heard of the Coronavirus outbreak on the News. It feels like we’re in an Episode of Walking Dead (without the zombies!), all the abandoned Shopping Centres, the empty offices which would usually have hundreds if not thousands of people in at one time. This Pandemic that we are still in has taught me many things, one of which is that Health is THE most important aspect to life – all the money and materialistic items mean nothing when it comes down to it. I will also talk about the other Positives things that I am taking from this situation and how I am using it to improve my life and keep positive.

The second thing that I have learnt from this Pandemic is to keep up your daily routine even if you are in a different scenario (lockdown), this has really helped with my Positivity, Productivity and also my Mental Health. I have learnt a lot about how the mind works in my recent years, I have learnt that going to the Gym is my medicine and my way of relieving any stress and increasing my Productivity. I’d say that working out has really helped me start this Business too, I am now working the hardest I can in everything I do and I am loving it!

The third thing I have learnt from this is that I am very fortunate with the Family and Girlfriend I have, we are all in one household but we are all helping each other every day and keeping the isolation enjoyable for everyone. There isn’t anyone else I’d rather spend this time with, it’s a great time for every family to bond, to take up new hobbies and to keep productive while we are in this situation.

Stay Positive and healthy! I will be posting frequent Blogs on this Page for you all to see.

See you on the next Blog, Louis.
